Unit Overview

Mobile Meter Reading (MMR) is a KKB Tirta Raharja business unit that carries out water meter reading with the support of a digital application. Using the application helps make the recording, management, checking, and documentation of meter reading data more structured, accurate, and transparent.

Beyond supporting meter reading operations, MMR has also been developed as part of KKB Tirta Raharja's technology and digital services. Since 2019, the MMR application and its server infrastructure have been rented out to PDAMs and other regional water utilities through cooperation arrangements tailored to each partner's needs.

MMR is one of KKB Tirta Raharja's seven business units with a role in technology and digital, and does not represent the cooperative's whole identity or main focus.

Digital Meter Reading

Records and manages water meter reading results in the field using a mobile application that supports digital documentation and data management.

Checking & Verification

Checks and verifies reading results through a structured process to support data accuracy and quality before submission per the applicable mechanism.

MMR Application & Server Rental

Provides rental of the Mobile Meter Reading application and its server infrastructure to PDAMs and other regional water utilities, as part of developing KKB Tirta Raharja's technology and digital services.

Role in the KKB Tirta Raharja Ecosystem

MMR is part of the development of KKB Tirta Raharja's technology and digital services within the cooperative's ecosystem. Through the application, meter reading data management can be carried out in a more structured, documented way that supports checking and monitoring.

Beyond its use in operational activities, developing the application and server infrastructure also opens opportunities for partnerships with PDAMs and other regional water utilities. Together with the Data Logger and Billing & Server Rental business units, MMR forms part of the technology-based business line that complements the KKB Tirta Raharja ecosystem.
